This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Audio Visual Design Engineer to join our growing team at AVI-SPL and play a vital role serving as a technical consultant to the sales force generating functional system descriptions block flow diagrams and equipment lists to enable generation of customer proposals.
An AV Technician is required to be based at one of our client sites in Paris, France. This individual will need to develop into the role highlight below, with a view to providing support of fully integrated conference rooms, boardrooms and large complex environments such as auditoriums. The Technician interfaces daily with the customer and acts as an extension of their team. His/her responsibilities generally include the operation and functional testing of all AV and integrated conference room components/equipment. The Technician works in cooperation with the customer’s management team in support of their equipment and user community.

In this role you will responsible for supporting Quality Control Center (QCC), Warehousing team and the final testing and commissioning of Audio-Visual systems during and post build. This position will also provide tasks or technology assignments as well as establish goals and plans that meet project objectives.
The Installation Technician 3 will perform installation tasks for AVI-SPL contracted projects including but not limited to: cable pulls, cable terminations, system equipment and components, rack fabrication and wiring layout for equipment and metal fabrication. The Installation Technician 3 will be expected to lead and direct installation crews on larger, more complex projects by coordinating and reporting progress to Project Manager ensuring projects achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Audio Visual / IT Support Technician is responsible for the everyday support for programs and events hosted at the center. Technicians ensure the centers are set up, maintained, and shut down based on the center's operating schedule. They maintain a professional environment for clients and staff during events and off hours. The Techs will work closely with stakeholders and the Operations Manager to ensure proper coverage and scheduling of events and programs.
